Redbreast Irish Whiskey Ireland 12YO 70cl Bottle

Product Info: Redbreast is the largest selling Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey in the world. Full of aroma and flavour, Redbreast 12YO benefits from a strong contribution from distillates which have matured in Oloroso sherry casks, giving it a trademark Christmas cake character. Tasting Notes: Color: Bright gold. Nose: A complex spicy and fruity aroma with toasted wood notes. Taste: Full-flavoured and complex; a harmonious balance of spicy, creamy, fruity, sherry and toasted notes. A satisfyingly long finish, with complex flavours lingering on the palate. Medals & Awards: San Francisco World Spirits Competition - 2020 Gold Medal, 2019 Double Gold Medal Brand/Product History: Redbreast dates back to 1903 when Jameson entered into an agreement with the Gilbeys Wines & Spirits Import Company to supply them with new make spirit from their Bow St. Distillery. The custom of that era was that distilleries sold bulk whiskey to ‘bonders’ who, being in the business of importing fortified wines such as sherry and port, had ample supplies of empty casks in which to mature new make whiskeys under bond.
